Prepare to excel in addiction counseling with the IC&RC ADC exam prep.
The IC&RC (International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium) Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ADC) exam is a critical certification for professionals working in the field of addiction counseling. This credential signifies a deep understanding of addiction counseling techniques, ethics, and the ability to work with clients who are struggling with substance abuse issues.
The ADC exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions, with 125 scored and 25 pretest items. Candidates have three hours to complete the exam. These questions cover key areas such as screening, assessment, engagement, treatment planning, counseling, professional ethics, and continuing care. Eligibility for the ADC exam typically requires a combination of education (often a minimum of a high school diploma with specific coursework in addiction counseling), supervised work experience, and, in some cases, previous certifications or licensure. The pass score varies by jurisdiction but is generally set by the IC&RC at around 500 out of 800 on a scaled score. Certification validity and renewal requirements vary, but it must be renewed every two years, requiring continuing education credits.

This was recommended in a group for study help for the IC&RC exam. It makes studying fun and kinda like a game. I paid for a subscription after I set my exam date, used it daily, took a couple of mock exams, and passed.
