Pocket Prep has added a brand new exam to its lineup of professional exam prep offerings–the ASQ® Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB).
The ASQ® CSSBB certification is the 16th addition to the company’s Professional Pocket Prep app. This app includes exam study prep for a range of professional certifications spanning project management, agile practices, supply chains, planning and inventory management, and more.
Those who earn the Black Belt designation are proven experts in six sigma techniques, processes, tools, and methods. They are able to resolve problems and improve quality in even the most complex of situations and processes.
This certification is part of the Six Sigma belt series that spans the White, Yellow, Green, Black, and Master Black belts. The Black Belt certification indicates the professional can lead and manage projects in the workplace. Pocket Prep also offers exam prep for the Green Belt (CSSGB) certification and plans to expand into other belt offerings in the future.
Pocket Prep’s study material for the CSSBB certification exam features 500 practice questions and is broken down into the nine domain areas of the exam. Those domains and their respective weight on the exam are:
- Measure (14%)
- Analyze (13%)
- Improve (12%)
- Define (11%)
- Team Management (10%)
- Control (9%)
- Organization-Wide Planning and Deployment (7%)
- Organizational Process Management and Measures (6%)
- Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Framework and Methodologies (4%)
The following two textbooks were used to build the content, and they are used as reference points in the detailed answer explanations for every question:
- The Certified Six Sigma Black Belt Handbook, Third Edition by T.M. Kubiak and Donald W. Benbow
- The ASQ CSSBB Study Guide by Mark Allen Durivage and Shawn Findlater
All of Pocket Prep’s practice questions are built from scratch using the company’s sourcePrep™ process that includes working with industry experts, and they are completely original.
Pocket Prep has been providing exam prep for professionals for a decade and averages a 4.8-star App Store rating on all of its exam prep apps. As the nature of examinations means regular content and version changes, Pocket Prep will always make content updates as exam standards change.
