Seattle-based mobile test prep company Pocket Prep has landed on the Puget Sound Business Journal’s ‘100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies List’ for the third year in a row. The company ranked #24 on the list in 2020, #41 in 2021, and #29 in 2022.

Pocket Prep has grown to 27 employees in 2022 and has two offices, one in the University District neighborhood of Seattle and one in downtown Durham, NC. Prior to the pandemic, the company rented office space in The Riveter’s coworking space in Fremont. Pocket Prep initiated a fully remote working policy in 2020. Earlier this year, the company switched to a hybrid format that encourages employees to work where they work best, whether remote or in-office.

Pocket Prep offers exam preparation for over 130 different career certifications through mobile apps and online. The company’s study tools allow prospective exam takers to prepare for test day by building healthy study habits with regular study sessions and tapping into performance data to better understand their own competencies. All content is original and built either in-house or with industry experts, and the company’s apps have been downloaded over 6.5 million times.
Pocket Prep continues to be 100% bootstrapped and is not seeking investors or M&A.
