Are you passionate about helping others and looking for a meaningful way to start a career in behavioral health? If so, the Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®) credential might be the perfect path for you.
The RBT® certification is offered by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board® (BACB®) and is a nationally recognized credential designed for individuals who want to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. As an RBT®, you’ll work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®) to support people with developmental challenges—often children with autism.
What Makes the RBT® Role So Important?
RBTs are compassionate professionals who bring behavior plans to life. While BCBAs design treatment strategies, RBTs work directly with clients, helping them build communication, social, and daily living skills.
That means you’ll be a key player in improving lives—one small victory at a time.
If you’ve found your way here, chances are you’re exploring how to start your career and want to feel confident in your next steps. The great news is that the RBT® role is an accessible, high-impact entry point into the world of behavior analysis. You don’t need a college degree to get started—just the right training, certification, and heart.
